See What I Mean is a two-person, verbal exchange exercise
designed by GroundWork to improve listening skills within intimate
partnerships. Whole brain listening
requires hearing, imagining and feeling what your intimate partner is
presenting and, in your own words, briefly checking to see if that’s what your
partner meant to communicate. Using the
26-card stimulus pack, as well as the definition and criteria sheet, See What I
Mean helps participants improve their skill with the communication power tool,
paraphrasing.
